Manuscript Preparation

The main aim of the workshop is to offer participants a venue for stimulating discussions and comparison of methods and approaches. In line with this open intent, in addition to previously unpublished material the program commitee welcomes paper submissions that include ideas and material that may have appeared elsewhere, insofar as they are judged to be a sound and valuable contribution to the discussion. For the seventh edition of the workshop, we would like to promote the presentations of research-in-progress papers and posters. We propose three categories for submission:
- research papers (should not exceed 10 pages)
- short papers (up to 6 pages)
- posters (up to 3 pages).

Best papers may be recommended for fast-tracking to the ACM Journal of Data and Information Quality (JDIQ). In case of paper acceptance, the authors agree that at least one of them will register for the workshop and present the paper.

Papers should be in English formatted following the ACM SIG proceedings format. Proceedings templates are available in Word and LaTeX (v. 2.09 and 2e). These templates are available at: http://www.acm.org/publications/submissions.

Note: Although the ACM templates include headings for "Categories and Subject Descriptors," "General Terms," and "Keywords," these are not used and should be omitted from your submitted paper. QDB 2009 doesn't suggest double-blind submissions, so the names of the authors should appear on the first page of the paper.

All papers must be submitted in PDF. Please ensure that any special fonts used are included in the submitted documents. It is essential that they print without difficulty on a variety of printers using Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Manuscript Submission

Papers and poster abstracts have to be submitted in PDF via the Conference Management System.
